Membership
Library membership in academic institutions grants access to extensive resources including books, journals, and digital archives crucial for research and study. It typically requires student or faculty ID registration, offering borrowing privileges, study spaces, and access to specialized databases, enriching scholarly pursuits and academic development.
Membership
All the students, faculty members and staff of the Institute can register themselves for the membership of the Library. All Students, faculty and staff members are registered on behalf of ID cards issued to them by Institute. Their entitlement, in terms of the number of books that can be borrowed by them, are as follows:

Over Due Fine
Items that are returned after the due date are considered overdue. Overdue fines are assessed at the following rates:
Rs. 02/- (Two) per book per day for the first 14 days for all user categories, followed by Rs. 05/- (Five).
If the overdue fine exceeds 90 days, the book will not be issued to their account, and the account will be suspended for the next 30 days
Cost Recovery of Lost Books by the Library Members
Following is the approved criteria for recovering the cost of lost books by Library members.
Lost book should be replaced by a latest edition (new book) with overdue charges, if any and with processing charges of Rs. 50/- for each book.
In case the book is out of print or not available in the market then the double of the cost mentioned in the Accession register should be charged with processing charges of Rs. 50/- for each book with overdue charges, if any.
The cost of the book in foreign currency to be charged at the current conversion rate of the currency.
