Interlibrary loan (ILL) is a service offered by libraries where they borrow materials (such as books, articles, or other resources) from another library on behalf of their patrons. It enables access to materials not available locally, expanding research possibilities and supporting academic and scholarly pursuits beyond a library’s own collection. 

The library has always taken an active part in availing the benefits of sharing resources with other major libraries. Requested article is being provided to the faculty members from the help of the Union catalog of E-Resources which covers the resources of 23 IITs, 7 IISERs and 1 IISc (31 Institutions). This is done through document delivery services.
