They offer convenient access to vast information, supporting research, education, and entertainment. Libraries subscribe to digital platforms, providing users with diverse resources that enhance learning and information retrieval capabilities.
e - Journals
The Central Library of the Institute provides direct access to an extensive collection of full-text electronic journals from several publishers and aggregators. Access to these resources is facilitated through subscription and participation in the e-ShodhSindhu. Complete information and hyperlinks to these digital publications can be obtained through the




Standards
The Central Library of the Institute provides direct access to standards from several publishers and aggregators.
The Central Library has the subscription of national and international ASTM and BIS standards. Links to these standards are available at


E-Books
Central Library has subscribed e-Book from 3 publishers i.e. Pearson, McGraw Hill and Institute of Physics. These contain more than 80 titles. e-Books are purchased/subscribed based on the demand of the users.




E - Databases
Central Library has subscribed IEEE IEL online, web of science, MathSci Net, Scifinder scholar and EPWRF India Time series. It includes 37211+ journals and have perpetual access which provide facility to access back editions. These e-databases are available on Campus Network.

Institute Repository
D-Space
The Library features a ‘D-SPACE Digital Repository’ that serves as a platform for hosting scholarly information such as books, book chapters, journal articles, conference papers, presentations, and other intellectual materials developed by the IIT Jammu Faculty & students.
DSpace is a web application, allowing researchers and scholars to publish documents and data. While DSpace shares some feature overlap with content management systems and document management systems, the DSpace repository software serves a specific need as a digital archives system, focused on the long-term storage, access and preservation of digital content.
DSpace preserves and enables easy and open access to all types of digital content including text, images, moving images, mpegs and data sets. And with an ever-growing community of developers, committed to continuously expanding and improving the software, each DSpace installation benefits from the next.
